It may help them financially in the short term, but it seems like long-term stuff like this just hurts the sport.

How many young baseball fans do you know? Not nearly as many as there was once. Many reasons for that, of course, but I have no doubt that one of them is because few can actually watch playoff games if they live on the east coast anymore.
