He may not have gotten it from an unknown, depending on the truth of some rumors.

Mainly that some gay porn companies aren't as rigorous as other (straight and gay both, I imagine) companies when it comes to testing and verifying that actors have clean tests. I'm not sure if I believe that. So that pool might not be as safe as assumed.
There's also some people who really don't think much of the place everyone gets their tests, but I think they try and stop those with a positive test from working.
As for the current actor, the current rumor is that he's a crossover (between gay and straight movies, hence the first rumor) actor. And another rumor that there have been 20 positive tests, some of them big names.
