I have a strong feeling to want to call her out on the behavior.

I think alot of it has to do with part of the struggles she has with her job revolve around accountability to biblical principles (being that her job is a church) and her own work to eliminate gossip and other types of behavior from her world. As a staff, they seem to have been taking very seriously accountability to each other for their actions. Something like this, were it to be widely know, would be a huge mark against her for her stepping up into that position and I guess I'm feeling that she should have 100% known better and not touched that script at all both for moral and practical job reasons
