I'd have to ditch AT&T if I wanted a non-AT&T phone?

You'll have to excuse me, I've been with them since the beginning and my phone shopping consisted of:

"Does it have the ability to make calls?"

"Does it have the ability to get on the Net?"

"Can I get it in blue?"
