all the names I like are too damn popular (Jacob, Lucas). I hate the last-name-for-a-first-name names.

basically we were going to be screwed if we had a boy (I guess I should frame this more positively and in future terms).

especially because we wanted to come up with a J name for family reasons (for a boy). and I could come up with exactly... none.
