Fair nuff. I wasn't trying to say he was exactly like Frenchy, just that he's Francour-ish, in that he has the same plate approach.

He swings at everything, doesn't walk, strikes out a ton. Ross has better power, no doubt.
Ross probably does have better range in the OF, but again, that's not saying much. Frenchy's one plus talent is his rocket arm. Ross can't compare to that.
I'd go so far to say that Ross is waaaaaaay more valuable than Frenchy, because Ross's advantage with the bat, and he's at least nominally positionally flexible. I'd never want Frenchy in CF, but Ross can play it in a pinch.
