LYC: went aqua jogging again tonight, and did a few laps of freestyle since I can finally kick without pain. Wow, I suck at swimming.

I cant go for more than two laps without gasping for air, even though I'm in good shape overall. Checked online and apparently this is very common with triathletes (not that I am one of those). Many people who cycle/run are bad at swimming, because of poor technique. Guess I am one of those. I took years of swimming lessons so I know how to swim (sorta), but my technique sucks. Am now considering my options in how to learn better technique. there is a DVD called "Total Immersion" that comes highly recommended by triathletes. I just ordered it.
