Some mildly negative observations about the new Avengers cartoon on Disney XD (minor spoiler, too)

The Iron Man character is clearly fashioned after RDJ's Iron Man, but the arrogance and smarmyness is just awful. The voice acting and animation just doesn't do justice to the character.
Mercifully, the only resemblance between SLJ's Nick Fury and the one in the cartoon is that they're both black. He doesn't even look like the Ultimate Marvel Nick Fury. It would have been a debacle if they had tried to mimic SLJ's mannerisms in the cartoon. In fact, he looks like the mainstream Marvel Nick Fury with blackface.
The lack of Captain America in the first episode (two-parter) was disappointing. The Hulk was solid. And the battles were epic (although you wonder why they don't outlaw all supers from earth after a mega battle of nearly Hiroshima proportions).
