ST is wise. Which department should pay for my overtime? Humanities, IT, or President's Office?

I run queries through a data warehouse and build statistical cases for grants. I recently discovered a problem with the data warehouse and reported it to IT. It took them 24 hours to figure it out and fix it. They had made a mistake while doing some indexing work last Friday and corrected it.

However, all of the work I have done on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday has to be done over, and since they were fixing it on Thursday I couldn't do any of this kind of work. Now I have to redo my previous work, starting today (normally a day off) and continuing into the weekend because a lot of this needs to be submitted on the 1st. This is going to be overtime, and so it has to come out of somebody's budget. Should it be...

Humanities? I was doing work for grants in the Humanities department, and now have to do it all over again. They were already charged for three days of work. I'm still doing it all over just for them, so they should pay.

IT? They are the ones who messed up, and me finding the error kept a lot of other problems from happening. It's their fault I have to work extra, so they should pay.

President's Office? I report to the president of the college and his office pays for my normal hours that can't be associated with a grant or a specific project. Since he pays for more of my time than any other department, he should pay.
