fascinating fact: sushi eel can't be made to reproduce in captivity, and in fact is born in the Atlantic ocean, caught as babies in the mouths of Maine rivers, shipped to China to be farm raised, and then killed/cooked/cleaned and shipped to the United States for consumption.
