On the GOP/Tea party getting kudos for the result tomorrow. Wouldn't it be more accurate to say that the kudos for GOP gains tomorrow should go to

Obama/the Dem party itself? I don't think any member of the tea party, at least not such a % of them that would alter an election result, were heretofore Democrat voters. Isn't the poor showing of the Dems tomorrow down to a general disaffection of Dem policies/performance by the middle swathe of the electorate, who flit between either party based on how they would like the country to be run at any given time. And also wouldn't it be down to all those "blue" voters who don't like Obama/Dem policies and who can't bring themselves to vote red, but will rather just not go out and vote tomorrow as a protest against said policies?
To my mind the GOP/tea party haven't done anything stellar. The economy is still in the toilet after 2 years of blue government. That's what's causing the swing, not any great mobilisation of a red vote.
