As I said in the MMQB that gets posted later, I did Walking Dead a huge disservice by watching Dawn of the Dead and 28 Days Later before it. This is a mediocre zombie pilot. Those two are special zombie films with true genius permeating throughout. I had hoped for more from Darabont, but I'm sure the six episodes play better in tandem than individually.
