you might want to make sure its actually shellfish and not iodine - I thought I was allergic to shellfish but it is just iodine

I first got that reaction in Baltimore so I thought it was the crabs, but it turns out it was iodine as I got that when I was shot up with medical iodine for a CAT scan.

So it turns out that I have an allergy to shellfish from the Atlantic and the Gulf, but I can eat shellfish from the Pacific since the iodine count is much lower in that ocean. Which works for me, because the Pacific rocks and the Atlantic sucks.
