LIR: Prop 19. IMO, it's generally known that people who want pot can pretty much get it.

Anecdotal evidence suggests it's not hard to get a medical marijuana card. So, I think there is a "Why fix it if it ain't broken" mentality... among white voters. I do think racial minorities are bound to vote in favor of Prop 19 because of the high representation of these populations among those who are arrested for pot possession.

Those who are in the pot business are split, because they are making a living off things as they are. With the passage of Prop 19, will mainstream retailers start to sell pot, and is this a scenario that stoners actually want?

Also, I don't know if recent polls account for the very recent jump in pro-Prop 19 ad buying.
