Kenny was technically right, but he should never have expected it to go through that way on Survivor.

Bob said he'd give him the immunity idol if he won it. Period. There was no caveat that Kenny had to keep him safe or that he would only do it if Kenny were in jeopardy. Bob broke the deal.
It was a stupid deal and in the aspect of the game it was a smart move to break the deal, but he broke it nonetheless.
