it looks like no one here checked to see if it's fake? it is.

the writer Bill Wyman wrote it all.

I checked after becoming suspicious at a couple of words that were used - the reality is right there in the comments.

that said, I kind of wish it had come from Mick, 'cause it's pretty darned good. otoh, shame on Slate for not tagging it properly - good satire can be done without lying in a preface.
