Heroes is retcon central. Anything that can be done can be undone, or re-done. Any story that needs to be created can be created.
And the writers are absolutely *squandering* that ability, to great detriment.
So far the only good, witty, promising writing in this season's most recent episodes ... is Hiro warping in, saying "Bad guy", and warping Sylar and Elle out, and then coming back for Claire. Just poof-poof-poof. More stuff like that should happen. More teamwork should happen, also. Less gonads and strife, more teamwork and awesomeness.
Ultimately, though, because anything can be undone ... the whole series is somewhat pointless. :)
