it takes very high temperatures in a near vacuum with certain gasses passing over.
I imagine that milling is pretty difficult too.
i'm not sure why people are so afraid of wearing Ti rings. the whole hard to cut off thing is overblown. like how often does that really happen, especially in an office or such.
besides, with the memory properties of titanium, just wait a while and it might umclamp itself ;-)
