You've traveled outside the country. You know that the UK, US, etc all make you go back through security locally.

Additionally, any country for which the US feels that security is too lax, the TSA requires additional security for US-bound planes from those countries.
So, if your point is that a plane from Mongolia to Djibouti could get taken out, sure you are probably right.
But I don't think those flights are really targets
