I wish there was a 3rd party for people like me. At my core I am a republican. I believe in government and its ability to help people help themselves and not do hand outs. I believe church has no place in government. I believe a woman has the right to choose. I believe business should be watched but not messed with by the government - empower business to grow and empower people to be better
In the endd I classify myself as a moderate republican - no an independent etc.
Hell I think a study should be done and social security retirement age should be recalulated like it was when it was created. The age should be set to where its the same distance from average lifespan as it was when it was made. I think the stat I heard was when it was made only about 75% of the people made it to that age. I am cool with that. Sure grandfather some people up to a point now but move it back - we are living to long.
Special interest group should be outlawed (or at least lobbyists)
Small businesses should play very little takes and be encouraged and tax breaked into success
some kind of workable flat tax would be great with minimal ability for people middle class or rich to dodge it
I think if you are on welfare you should be on some kind of medically forced birth control
I think there needs to be some way to divide up the nation budget and allocate $ to state based on a flat rate related to population and some size realted to uS infrastructure measurement and not allow senators and congress people to lobby for $ for their states...make their jobs more about execution of postive growth and function
