caused by smoking. Likely 80% of the stuff we covered was due to smoking.
Small cell carcinoma of the lung may be one of the most aggressive cancers I learned about so far. Median survival after diagnosis is 1.5 months for the aggressive form and 3 months for the less aggressive form. Chemotherapy bumps the survival up to 6-9 months.
