Don't "quit using IE", just start using Chrome. :-) Why I prefer it:

It automatically updates. They push updates out so users are always using the most current, most secure version.
Extensions: There are some really good ones available.
Most importantly, each tab runs in its own sandbox. Whatever is on that tab almost never affects the processes running on the other tabs. This means Chrome rarely crashes due to crazyness on a particular site.
It's FAST. Much faster than IE and somewhat faster than FireFox in most areas.
It's more streamlined. IE has a lot of screen real estate taken up by the navbar and all the assorted icons, etc.
