but similar enough that it would be no difference to your body. kinda like drinking gasoline or naptha would give the same result. -- nm

I've read that there are studies which claim this is not the case, that your body does process the two very differently.

I believe corn syrup is in fact sucrose, so there is no difference. -- nm

I believe the distinction I'm thinking of was between sugar and high fructose corn syrup, in particular.

There are studies that show that there's no difference too. I think it's very inconclusive at this point. -- nm
