Escobar would immediately be a top 3 shortstop in the AL.

Morton is a MLB-ready SP with great stuff but he's got shaky confidence. I like Brandon Jones a lot as an OF. He reminds me of Jermaine Dye, but the Braves have never seemed to like him much. He should have been starting over Frenchy in the second half of the season, but they didn't give him much of an opportunity. BA just named Hernandez our #3 prospect. He's going to be a MLB CF in about 2 years. So, I am uncomfortable what the Braves would be giving up, particularly if the other minor league pitcher is someone like Jeff Locke or Cole Rohrbach, but I understand why we would consider it.
It's not the type of trade the Mariners made for Bedard where the other team molests them, and it's not the trade the Mets made for Johan where the Twins didn't get enough. It's somewhere in the middle, but I have to think the Braves are getting the better of it.
