..From last week. Those were denials that the team did anything wrong regarding a "deal", not that they weren't talking. (Which I believe.)
But to be clear, I don't believe for a single solitary second that Obama wouldn't have spoken with the Governor about a potential suitor. Might not have been caught on wire taps, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen at one of their meetings.
I don't think Axelrod was incorrect with what he said at first about the President-elect. I only brought it up in that it's an example of a story changing during the initial run of the issue.
