i dunno, for all my abrasive humor, it truly isn't my desire to really make anyone leave or feel unwelcome (in most cases). and if i'd had some warning that i'd crossed his line, i would have apologized, like i've done for anyone who has ever told me i went over their line. (at least, i've tried to, lord knows how successful i've been.)

it was just so abrupt, and over something seemingly mild, especially given the vigorous, hearty, mutual, and never complained about back and forths colin and i have had in the past. i dunno.
