whatever the case may be, there are many times when i would gladly admit that i was being snarky or attempting to aggravate...

but all i did this time was post a headline to a story that i didn't want to read myself without a link (primarily as an off the cuff joke), and i'm still totally baffled at how that got read as somehow rude and/or condescending.
