They were pretty high, though it was not as bad as the Aerosmith show I saw the same year

I was amazed they didn't all pass out on stage they were that wasted

Saw Aerosmith twice in 87...once in Ft. Wayne and Dokken blew them away & then later that year Guns and Roses opened for Aerosmith...
