Okay, can someone help me out...what makes Crawford worth $20mil+ a year?

he's a career .295 hitter with an OBP of .337, Slugging of .444 and OPS of .781.

His OPS+ is 107... and his last 3-4 years is about 115 on average.

So....have we really reached a point that being 15% above average is worth 20mil a year?

I'm genuinely surprised by how .... non eye-popping his #'s are.
