left to a Eucharistic minister. But I got back to our pew before they did and when I looked down the aisle to see where they were, they were still in front of the father walking back and my wife was rolling her eyes. Why.

Because the teenager in front of my wife and kids took his iPod earbuds out of his ears and then (it gets better)...handed the father his iPod so he could present his hands properly to receive Communion.

That takes brass. Ignorant brass. And the father was none too pleased and let him know it. Hence the delay.
