And as much as I like the Falcons, the idea of them beating the Saints and the Eagles in consecutive weeks is something I'm not confident with. -- nm

I think the Saints are currently the favorites in the NFC, but I'm putting a lot of weight on the "they've been there before" factor right now. -- nm

I believe that the Saints are as capable of repeating as any team in recent memory, but it all hinges on their running game, which is getting healthy. -- nm

I'm not going to worry about anybody until we see how the seedings shake out. Right now, Seattle then New Orleans is what matters. -- nm

I realize that I forgot to address the Jags yesterday, but I have them out with a 9-7 record. That said, two wins gets them into tie-breakers. -- nm

The Jags have to win their division to get in. The question becomes how much Peyton's force of will can impact the Colts down the stretch. -- nm

What I worry about the most is that this is a team that has avoided turnovers and penalties. Things like that have a way of evening out. -- nm

Penalties and maybe injuries I could see. I don't see turnovers coming up to bite Atlanta.

The only player on the Falcons I think is irreplaceable is Roddy White. This is a very deep team.

Exactly. It seems like every season we see that game where a team dominant in TO differential has 4 giveaways and loses.

Having watched Seattle Sunday, I fully expect to win, but they're long overdue to have a bad game.
