Also, I think that the reason New England hasn't peaked too early is that the Cleveland game got their attention.

I also think that for all of their problems on defense, the Ravens could have turned their season around last night. On the first defensive play of overtime, Cory Redding almost forced end zone holding. On the second defensive play of overtime, Ngata forced Schaubie into a heinous decision/throw. Given what had transpired in the fourth quarter, they *had* to win that game and to their credit both DTs sucked it up and made plays. This could do for them what the week 17 game did for the Giants a few years ago.
What helps them, the Patriots and the Steelers is that the AFC, despite conventional wisdom, is down this year. There is one great team and three good teams and one of the good teams, the Jets, are collapsing.
