Exactly. It seems like every season we see that game where a team dominant in TO differential has 4 giveaways and loses.

Turnover margin is luck to an extent but the combination of that stat plus penalties is a reflection upon coaching. If your team is strong in both, they are well coached and play with discipline. When adrenaline is high, discipline can fly out the window and the margin of error in playoff games is so small at times.
