There is NOTHING festive or cheerful about obnoxiously ringing a bell ad nauseam. Its not a carol or a jingle, more like a kid with an annoying toy. It baffles me why that bell is supposed to make people more generous. That sound is awful! Next one I see I will offer $25 if they give me the bell so I can run it over with my car.
