I remember going to the movies then. They would have special shows for kids on Sat.

Cost a whole quarter to get in and that got you a small soda and a bag of popcorn.
They would show two movies (mostly westerns) plus 2 serials and about 8 cartoons (good ones). Then we would stay and watch the two movies that they were running on the regular movies. It would be dark out when we went home.
Those were good days.
