I always feel as though integrated devices have two issues: model/actress and lonely cheese.

model/actress: a model/actress is generally mediocre at both things rather than great at one. I feel as though hiring two people (machines) with more distinct skill sets is smarter sometimes.
lonely cheese: if one function of the device goes worthless, the other functions are less useful. if my roku dies, I replace my roku. if the internet connectivity of my tv dies, do I replace my tv?
