no, an inch of snow isn't a problem in Central Illinois. They are prepared to clean it up and people have experience driving on it, so it's all good.
An inch of snow is a huge problem in East Tennessee. They're not equipped to clean the roads, and people have no idea how to drive on it. It's very dangerous, even if you know how to drive on snow, because other people will slide right into you as they have no idea what to do.
We got shut down this morning for ice. I got to work about an hour late. It's just...different when a city isn't equipped for cleaning up the ice/snow/bad stuff.
