Honestly I don't think they care that much about the neutral field (they've been good on the road all year). I think they're worried about injuries.

The field is under 2 feet of snow and there's a layer of ice on the bottom. Soldier Field's turf sucks, but that sounds ridiculous even after they remove the snow.
