That's a smart political move on Sen. Obama's part.

He wins regardless of whether he's targeting attentive voters or the non-attentive.
Most of the people don't know what the hell is going on and will just assume that Sen. Obama is calling for an investigation of ACORN. For everyone in the know, it'll fire up his base and really just tick off the far-right hardliners pushing the ACORN issue.
