But then, I spent a long time hating the word "able". It was on a sign near my house, and after seeing it multiple times every day, I just decided that it looked like it was cobbled together by some word-constructing rookie, with the vowels on the ends and two almost clashing consonents in the middle. And if you say it over and over, it just got shittier and shittier. It was like my least favorite word from a construction perspective for years.
