So I was watching the news earlier, and they had an airport guy on talking about de-icing planes. He kept saying the primary ingredient in the stuff.

Four or five times he said it.

I was just like, "for the love of God, stop saying that!"

Urea. They spray the planes with urea. (According to wikipedia, it can be synthesized without using urine ... and it's quite a bit less corrosive to metal than rock salt is.)
