It doesn't. I dunno. Tartakovsky focused on giving very brief glimpses into things, but doing those glimpses awesomely.

This is trying to tell an over-arching narrative in half hour blocks. A lot more of this thus far has happened in space, where Tartakovsky tended to focus more on hand-to-hand stuff....
They are very different, other than their timeline.
