Hey, forgot to mention this fun weekend thing... A local rock band with some North American exposure (The Weakerthans) played a homecoming tour....

It started out as "We're playing our entire albums." One album per night for four nights in a row, with escalating venue size for each night. (Dive bar, local performance hall, decent sized caberet, then the large theatre for the final night).

Then they changed the fourth show to a straight, "We're playing all four albums in their entirity, in reverse order."

Mrs. NWBR bought me tickets as an early Christmas present. The band took the stage at 8:45 and while it was a long 49-songs, they were great and it was a "They-are-only-doing-this-once!" type event I was really glad I got to go to.
