Has anyone refinanced a home loan through one of those third party companies that then sells the loan to a bank?

Feel a bit uncomfortable about that but it is like $3000 cheaper than going through say BofA.
Responses:
Even banks sell them. My first mortgage was through a local bank, the second through the credit union. Both were sold before my first payment. -- nm

Bummer. :( They will sell to GMAC or Chase I believe. Currently our mortgage is with BofA, but they are too expensive to refinance with. -- nm

I had no problems when I had Chase. Countrywide was the best until they went bankrupt and I got stuck with B of A. -- nm
