Too late for that. When I learned of the meat last night, I offered her the out once again, but she's now got it in her head she'll disappoint me.

I entered "No Win" land on the situation on Monday night when I first asked. She i just told her I was going stag again. (Though to be fair, this is a very important dinner for her to get a sense of what our lives are headed for ove rthe next five years, so while I'm not laying it on this hard to her, I'm glad she's going.)
