we narrowly averted mattress disaster the other day. apparently Jacen's twin bed is 1.5" narrower than a standard twin bed.

So we have to get the Ikea mattresses to fit it. Which is sort of a mothereffer, but not as bad as finding that out after my mother bought him a mattress that didn't fit.
