but even in that case, there is a distinct lack of Android apps that match the functionality of Air Video. Like I said, I can emulate it pretty well on the LAN using UPnP or file server access via the built in Android video player (but that requires pre-transcoded content) or a UPnP transcoder that Android likes (which has been problematic)

  - if i understand write, you dont have to use a freeagent drive, any usb drive (so therefore an exteneral usb 1tb drive maybe) would work. - tRuMaN Dec 23, 13:02 3
