one last thought, and i really dont know how it would work with your setup. what about services like pogoplug?

it has an app for ipad and android, and blackberry, and iphones.

and it lets you stream everything (transcodes it too I think).

i use it to share some files with my parents, but i have a free agent dockstar and drive.

- if i understand write, you dont have to use a freeagent drive, any usb drive (so therefore an exteneral usb 1tb drive maybe) would work. - tRuMaN Dec 23, 13:02 3
