you're out if the bowler hits you or the wicket with the ball, you hit it and someone catches it in the air, or someone catches it after a bounce and hits the wicket with it when you're not in its zone. other than that, ten batsmen, keeps going as long as they're not out. there's also something about innings and overs, but that's where it all breaks down for me. they seem relatively unimportant in test matches anyway.
