He inherited a 1 win team. We had a similar discussion a couple of years ago about Cutcliffe. 19-6 at Stanford is more impressive...

I never expect immediate NFL success for head coaches, but I like his odds better than most. He reminds me of Ken Whisenhunt (Georgia Tech grad with a lot of years as an NFL player) with some Jack Del Rio thrown in. Of course, we saw with Mike Singletary that all of the NFL knowledge in the world doesn't matter if you don't have the right roster or the right makeup to lead. I think Harbaugh does but I also think he hasn't earned the right to be the "in demand" NFL prospect of the offseason.
